favorites
The Vanishing (1988) — this film was so good! rex and saskia, a couple from amsterdam, take a cycling trip through france when saskia mysteriously disappears. over the next three years, her abductor writes letters to rex dangling clues about what happened to saskia until they finally meet in person. so thrilling and immersive.
Glaciers by Alexis M. Smith — this was a novella that resonated deeply with me! i read it in one sitting and loved it. over the course of one day, we follow isabel; a library worker in portland, oregon who has an affinity for nostalgia and old things. it’s as much about longing as it is about letting go. beautiful book! shoutout to the bookstore employee who recommended it to me.
ACT II by Sasha Keable — this album has its grip on meeee. its on repeat constantly.
UMADJ & Sasha Crush’s set at Razor-N-Tape — four hours of wonderful music to dance to. funk, house, disco, ECSTASY!!
this was a short one but thanks for reading all the same! i’ll see you all back here on saturday for the secret code <3

I’m so happy someone else has read Glaciers! I think about it a lot lol
Big fan of Hotel and this newsletter!
